The Sesame Street special program “Families Stand Together” will be featured during the Lights On Afterschool celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at Border Star Montessori.
The public is invited to join us as Nick Haines, KCPT Executive Producer of News and Public Affairs Programming, hosts the event, which is presented by the Kansas City, Missouri School District (KCMSD) and the Local Investment Commission (LINC). Families Stand Together” is a bilingual (English and Spanish) outreach initiative with useful strategies and information to help families talk, come together, and reach out for support.
