Want to be a part of nominating PTA officers for the 2011-2012 school year?
We’re looking for 3-4 volunteers to help put together a slate of nominees for PTA President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
The committee meets to discuss nominees, solicit nominees and finalize the slate. The nominees are then presented at the February PTA meeting and then voted on at the March PTA meeting.
Meetings will begin in early January and are anticipated to be no longer than a half-hour each. Much of the committee work will be done via phone and email between the actual meetings.

Dear Border Star Families,
The 2009-2010 yearbooks have been completed and sent to the printer to be published. We should have them soon. If you have not purchased your 2009-2010 yearbook it is not too late. We will have then available for purchase once then come in on a first come, first serve basis. The price for the yearbooks will be $15. I will send home a flyer to let you all know when we have then available.
It is not to late to still purchase your 2010-2011 yearbooks. They will be available to purchase for $15 until Friday, December 10th. After December 10th, the price will be $20, so be sure and get yours now.
Also, if you have any pictures you would like to submit to be put in the yearbook please feel free to email me at borderstaryearbook@gmail.com. I will be accepting pictures until February 28th. We still need pictures from Halloween Parties, Field Trips, Back-to-School BBQ and any other photos you would like to share.
