Girl Scouts needs a volunteer leader

We’re looking for a parent leader for a small group of second grade girls (Brownies).

We’ll provide the training and since many of our parent volunteers have led Brownies in the past, they can be a support and resource too.  Commitment is a minimum of one time a month but could be more.  Afterschool meetings are preferable.

Help promote courage, confidence and character for our growing girls.

Contact Angela Blackwell for more detail.

Easy ways to help raise money for our school

1)  Target Rewards Program

Target Rewards ProgramDid you know when you shop at Target, you can raise money for our school? Target® rewards program, Take Charge of Education®, will give back 1% of your purchases to Border Star annually.

How do you sign up? Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate Border Star as the recipient of your 1% reward.

What next? Start using your REDcard® (Target Credit Card®, Target Debit Card® or Target® Visa® Credit Card) whenever you shop! And PLEASE encourage your family, friends and neighbors to sign up too. It’s just that easy!

2)  Box Tops for Education/BTFE Clip Program

Box Tops for EducationHow does it work? The Clip program allows you to earn cash for your school by clipping Box Tops for Education Coupons from hundreds of participating products. Border Start earns 10 cents for every coupon we clip and send in!

How can you help? Look for the coupon on the products you purchase each week at the grocery store. Cut them out and drop off in the blue hanging folder on the Bulletin Board to the left when you enter the building.

Thank you for all you do to support our amazing school!
